Using Applied

How do I log an application?

Tap Log application at the bottom of the screen. Only the company is required. Adding where you found the job and which resume version you sent lets Pulse compare them later.

How do I move an application to the next stage?

On the Pipeline board, tap Move forward on its card. In the Log, tap the stage badge. To mark a rejection or no response, open the application and choose the stage. Each change is dated on the application's timeline.

What does “Gone quiet” mean?

An application still marked Applied with no reply after a set number of days, 21 by default. You can change this in Settings. Tap the flag on the application to mark it No response, or set a follow-up reminder instead.

Why is Pulse empty?

Pulse is built from the applications you log. After a few entries you'll see your weekly pace and response funnel. The resume and job source tables fill in once you add a resume version or source to your applications.

Can I change my weekly goal?

Yes. Open Settings with the gear icon and use the plus and minus buttons under Weekly goal.

Reminders

I'm not getting reminders.

Go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → Applied and turn on Allow Notifications. Reminders also need a date and time in the future, and they're cancelled when an application is marked Rejected or No response.

When do interview reminders arrive?

One hour before the interview time you set. Change the time on the application and the reminder moves with it.

Your data

Where are my applications stored?

Only on your iPhone. Applied has no account and no server, and your applications are never uploaded.

How do I back up or move my applications?

Open Settings and tap Export applications (CSV). Save the file to Files, email it to yourself, or open it in a spreadsheet app. There's no cloud sync, and deleting the app deletes its data, so export first if you plan to remove it.

How do I delete an application?

Open the application, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete application. To remove everything, delete the app from your iPhone.

Ads and purchases

How do I remove ads?

Open Settings and tap Remove ads. It's a one-time purchase handled by Apple, not a subscription.

I bought Remove Ads but still see ads.

Open Settings and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy it. This also works on a new iPhone or after reinstalling.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I change ad tracking or ad privacy choices?

Tracking is controlled in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you're in a region that requires ad consent, Applied also shows Ad privacy choices in its Settings screen.
