Privacy policy
What the Applied app does with information, and who it's shared with.
Applied is made by Devon Leedy. The job search information you enter stays on your iPhone. The developer never receives it.
Your application data stays on your device
Everything you enter in Applied is stored only on your iPhone. That includes companies, roles, dates, stages and stage history, where you found each job, posting links, pay, location, work setup, resume versions, contacts, notes, interview times, and follow-up reminders.
Applied has no accounts and no servers. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Advertising
Applied shows a banner ad provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when the app asks
- IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location
- Device and app information, such as device model, iOS version, and app version
- Ad interactions, such as views and taps, and diagnostic data
If you choose “Ask App Not to Track,” the advertising identifier isn't shared and ads are less personalized. You can change this anytime in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Where the law requires it, including the EEA, the UK, and some US states, Applied asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change that choice under Settings → Ad privacy choices in the app.
Google's use of this information is covered by Google's Privacy Policy. Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Purchases
You can buy a one-time Remove Ads upgrade. Apple handles payment, and the developer never sees your payment details.
Applied uses RevenueCat to confirm and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history for this app. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy. After you remove ads, the ad provider is no longer contacted.
Notifications
Follow-up and interview reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. They aren't sent through a server.
Exporting
When you choose Export in Settings, Applied creates a CSV file of your applications and opens the iOS share sheet. The file goes only where you send it.
What the developer collects
The developer doesn't collect, sell, or share your personal information. Any data collection is limited to the third-party services described above.
Children
Applied isn't directed to children under 13, and the developer doesn't knowingly collect information from children.
